Stats for 2009 .... Dec 31 there are 37 missing children and teens listed , and 74 adults. During 2009 22 children and teens have been found, and only one adult . Unfortunately the actual numbers are much higher, but many cases either go unreported, or unpublicized. This must change.

Build: Thin Eyes: Green Hair: Blonde Race: Caucasian Complexion: Tan Clothing: Was last seen wearing a burgundy tank top with pink lettering, and black sweatpants. Law Enforcement Contact: Henry County Sheriff's Department, 731-642-1672 Rachel Conger was last seen on 03/13/08 in a gray Ford F-150 with her estranged husband at her residence in Como, TN. Surveillance video at a store on West Wood St. in Paris, TN has the truck passing by at 8:07am, and the Swan Bay cell phone tower (around Paris Landing area of Buchanan, TN) has a recorded call coming in to Rachel's phone at 9:30 with the husband answering the call. The husband was seen alone at 10:15 am at his home (2020 Briarpatch Lake Rd.) twenty miles from the location where the cell phone call was received. Rachel's husband was found deceased on 03/16/08 as a result of a self inflicted gunshot wound. No one has seen or heard from Rachel since 03/13/08. But she is not searching alone. Country singer Mary Elizabeth Murphy, of Humboldt, first began talking to Amber, 13, of Paris, on MySpace.com after she learned about Amber's mother. "We continued to talk online, and I decided I wanted to do something to pay tribute to her mom," said Murphy, 16. Murphy organized the "Find Rachel Conger Benefit Concert," which was held at 5 p.m. Saturday at the Casey Jones Village Amphitheatre in Jackson. Singers of all ages took part in the concert. "This benefit is being held to raise money for the Bring Rachel Home Search Fund," Murphy said. "We don't have a set goal. We just want to raise enough to help out and bring a professional search team in to search for Amber's mom." Murphy added, "I think what Amber has done to find her mother is great. Her mom and her are really close, like my mom and I are. I know if I were in that situation, I would do the same thing." Conger, age 30, disappeared March 13 with her estranged husband, Paul, in his gray 2000 Ford pickup. Paul Conger was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the woods near the couple's Briarpatch Lake Road home, according to the Henry Countian Newspaper. Amber, who is now living with her paternal grandmother, Carol Simmons, said she has held everything from a car wash to a bake sale to a yard sale to raise money to bring in another search team to look for her mother. "My mom would go to the ends of the Earth to find me, and I'm not going to stop until I find her," Amber said. Amber said she last saw her mother with her mother's estranged husband. "He had been abusive to my mom for 10 years," Amber said. "We had moved away from him and he came to our house (on March 12) and said that he wanted her back." Amber said when she went to sleep, her mother and stepfather were still in the house. But when she woke up the next morning, her mother and stepfather were gone. "The police found Paul a couple of days later," Amber said. "They said he had shot himself and that they believe that my mother is the victim of a murder-suicide." Amber added, "I believe Paul would do that because he had threatened to do it before. There's no chance my mom would run off and leave me because my mom loves me." Amber said that she is thankful for all of the community support and wants everyone "to keep my mom in your prayers." Louise Younger, Ambers' maternal grandmother and Rachel Conger's mother, said she is proud of what Amber is doing to locate her mother. "I think it's absolutely wonderful," Younger said. "Amber's going beyond what a 13-year-old should. She's very mature and she's doing a wonderful job." Younger, of Paris, described her daughter as a caring person and a loving mom. "Rachel and Amber are mother and daughter, but they are also best friends," Younger said. "Rachel was a wonderful person and would give you the shirt off her back." Younger added, "We miss her very much and want her to be brought back home. This is a difficult time, but we trust in the Lord and know that one day Rachel will be found." Posts: 1 (01/31/09 1:24) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	The CUE Center for Missing Persons will be in Paris, TN on Feb. 28 & March 1, 2009 to search for Rachel. Monica Caison from CUE plans to bring 15-20 canine search units as well as several other experienced search teams. We pray the CUE searchers will be succesful in their search. Carol Simmons
