What to know


Here's what to know if you have a loved one missing, according to Huntingdon Police Chief Joe Parker:

Those who suspect loved ones are missing should contact local authorities immediately.

Though there are certain aspects of an investigation that can't start right away, police will be on the lookout for the missing person during regular patrols.

Once the person has been missing for 24 hours, the name can be entered into the National Crime Information Center or the NCIC to take the search national.
